Sattvapatti Yoga

The Yoga I am practicing and passing on is influented by the Kundalini and Tantra style, the integral Hatha Yoga of SIVANANDA, the ayurvedic medicine, the power of touch and particularly of my own experience.

With therapeutically touch the practice is tuned towards personal needs.

The classes are are held in an open and lovely atmosphere, always aware that all in manifestation has a counterpart. No-thing has only one perspective.

The main importance of Yoga is to attain an inner freedom and balance. *NOT to be the most flexible or to be the fittest on the mat...

Yoga is a holistic approach to make your entire reality a consciouss creation!

Thai Yoga Massage

Bodywork

The roots of the traditional Thai Yoga Massage are found in Yoga, Ayurveda and TCM. Referring to the legends, 500BC, the personal medical support of Buddha, Dr Jivaka Kumar Bhacca established this system in India. Later it passed on the way of buddhist monks to Thailand, in where the spacious practice raised.

This type of bodywork is a very conscious apply of touch with great gratitude (thai: metta). It results in deep relaxation and therefore activates the self healing processes in the body. Joints got moved in a passive way and muscles got softly stretched into relaxation. Relaxing the breath, increasing the lymphatic system und regulating the blood pressure hence acupressure is applied on the energy lines of the body.

The nervous system is changing the level from the sympathetic (activity) to parasympathetic (deep relaxation) state in where the body is deeply re-covering literally healing itself.
To maintain in deep relaxation and achieve an opening of deeply hidden processes here is an importance to the masseur of holding the secure space for the participants work.

The massage is held dressed and needs in average 90 minutes.
